The queen of the lower world and the dead, and a vegetation goddess. She is also known as the goddess of the harvest. This was one of the more detailed examples of a full custom design. My client sent me a detailed description of what she had in mind, the meaning behind it, the mood and colour palette as well as all the elements that she wanted to include. It was roughly illustrated, then refined to arrive at the final design and stencil. 2 sittings ensured I got all of the under-shading I wanted done and healed before adding the colour. This step really adds a dimensional quality to the finished healed result ,helps to block in structure, and establish set the tonal values going forward. It also adds to longevity of the finished product. A special thanks to Steph on her patience and trust with the process on this one. We had to reschedule multiple times unexpectedly… but pulled it all together in the end.
